Strom Thurmond won the last time they faced Saluda and things went their way on Friday too. The Strom Thurmond Rebels managed a 48-43 win over the Saluda Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Rebels sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Strom Thurmond's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landen Jones, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. Jones is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. AJ Walker was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven boards.

The victory got Strom Thurmond back to even at 9-9. As for Saluda, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Ninety Six the next time they take the court. Saluda will head out to face Ninety Six at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Strom Thurmond will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
