Soccer Recap: Northeast Early College Comes Up Short

If Northeast Early College was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Eastside Early College last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northeast Early College Raiders came up short against the Burnet Bulldogs on Friday, falling 7-0. The Raiders were red-hot offensively headed into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior) but the Bulldogs' defense proved too tough.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northeast Early College fell to 3-1. As for Burnet, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Gateway College Preparatory the next time they take the pitch. Northeast Early College will host Gateway College Preparatory at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Burnet will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
