Volleyball Recap: Cordova Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Cordova had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2018.

Cordova's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for King Cove, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Cordova didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Unalaska on the 10th. As for King Cove, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sand Point at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The last five games the Eagles/Lady Eagles have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
