Football Recap: Holt Comes Up Short

Holt lost against West Blocton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ironmen lost 41-18 to the Tigers. The Ironmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holt's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Blocton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Holt will face off against Bibb County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ironmen will need to watch out since the Choctaws have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matches. As for West Blocton, they will be playing at home against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Grove's defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so West Blocton's offense will have their work cut out for them.
