For the second straight game, Golden Sierra will face off against Mesa Verde. The Grizzlies will host the Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Golden Sierra is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.3 runs per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Golden Sierra got the win against Mesa Verde by a conclusive 17-9. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Tessa Hill was a standout: she scored three runs while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Marina MacPherson, who scored four runs while going 3-for-5.

Hill wasn't the only one making solid contact: Golden Sierra kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

The defeat snapped Mesa Verde's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. As for Golden Sierra, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Golden Sierra has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mesa Verde struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
