Lincoln-Way Central took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the St. Charles East Fighting Saints 63-0. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Fighting Saints are ranked 142nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln-Way Central will host Providence Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Charles East, they will be playing at home against Niles Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
