Football Recap: James Clemens Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 40 points the game before, James Clemens was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 28-7 to the Spain Park Jaguars. If the Jets were looking for revenge after losing 34-24 to the Jaguars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why James Clemens lost, don't look at Mj Gideon. Despite the final result, he rushed for 179 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Gideon was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 57 yards.

Spain Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brock Bradley led the charge by throwing for 261 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 passes. Hudson Hibbard was in the mix too, providing the Jaguars with two scores.

James Clemens' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Spain Park, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James Clemens will host Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spain Park, they will be playing at home against Pelham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
