Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Ballard back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lincoln Lynx were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Ballard Beavers.

Lincoln now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Ballard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Lincoln and Ballard: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Lincoln will try to hand Chief Sealth their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ballard will look to extend Cleveland's 15-game losing streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
