Basketball Recap: Jersey Takes a Loss

Jersey lost against Civic Memorial back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jersey Panthers had to suffer through a 63-31 loss at the hands of the Civic Memorial Eagles. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Jersey lost, don't look at Meredith Gray. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cali Breden, who earned seven points.

Jersey's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Civic Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.

Jersey has already played their next matchup (against Marquette Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Civic Memorial has already played their next contest, a 52-40 win against Centralia on the 18th.
