Basketball Game Preview: Browerville Tigers vs. Nevis Tigers

Browerville hasn't had much luck against Nevis recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Browerville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 22 matches -- so hopefully Nevis likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Browerville beat Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 67-54. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Nevis blew past Pine River-Backus, posting an 84-49 victory. Nevis has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Nevis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.3 points over those games. Browerville's win bumped their record up to 14-8.

Browerville couldn't quite finish off Nevis when the teams last played back in January and fell 78-76. Can Browerville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
