Ryan Dawes was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Dawes was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI.
In other batting news, Carlos Joseph was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Zione Oliver was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.
Southern School of Energy and Sustainability always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
J.F. Webb's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. J.F. Webb has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 11.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Southern School of Energy and Sustainability struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
