Football Recap: FAMU DRS Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

FAMU DRS had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. The match between the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers and the Wakulla War Eagles didn't end well, with the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers falling 19-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Baby Rattlers couldn't quite close it out.

The critical scores for Wakulla came from Cherish Bolen, Amiya Robinson, and Amaya Riggles.

The victory was the third in a row for Wakulla, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

FAMU DRS will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on March 19th. As for Wakulla, they will take on Ponte Vedra at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Ponte Vedra will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wakulla surely won't give up without a fight.
