Baseball Game Preview: Plainfield North Tigers vs. Bolingbrook Raiders

For the second straight game, Plainfield North will face off against Bolingbrook. The Tigers will face off against the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Plainfield North has three straight wins, Bolingbrook has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Plainfield North's victory against Bolingbrook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Raiders 6-4.

For Bolingbrook's part, Jayvyn Gray made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Bolingbrook's loss dropped their record down to 4-20-1. As for Plainfield North, their victory bumped their record up to 19-9.
