Baseball Recap: LBJ Austin Takes a Loss

If LBJ Austin was riding high fresh off their 18-7 takedown of Northeast Early College on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars came up short against the Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors on Saturday, falling 12-2. The Jaguars have struggled against the Raptors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

LBJ Austin's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-13-1 record.

Coming up, LBJ Austin will venture away from home to take on Eastside Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.31 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
