Basketball Recap: Union Star Comes Up Short

Union Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt an 86-9 loss at the hands of the Nodaway-Holt Trojans. The game marked Union Star's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Union Star's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Nodaway-Holt, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Union Star wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 86-9 loss against West Nodaway on the 17th. Nodaway-Holt will take on South Holt in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nodaway-Holt's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
