Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfax). They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 70-36 win over the Alhambra Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Stampede have posted since January 30, 2024.

Michael Holdbrook was his usual excellent self, putting up 23 points. Dante Brackens was another key player, earning 14 points.

Fairfax's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15. As for Alhambra, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-19.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Metro Tech the next time they take the court. Fairfax will head out to face Metro Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Alhambra will host them at 6:30 p.m. on February 4th.
