Buffalo Gap is 6-1 against Waynesboro since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Buffalo Gap Bison will venture away from home to challenge the Waynesboro Little Giants at 7:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Buffalo Gap and seven for Waynesboro.

Buffalo Gap came up short against Wilson Memorial on Friday, falling 75-53. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Green Hornets are ranked 59th).

Meanwhile, Waynesboro lost 64-42 to Staunton on Friday.

Buffalo Gap now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Waynesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Buffalo Gap came out on top in a nail-biter against Waynesboro when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 32-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buffalo Gap since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
