Baseball Recap: Columbine Comes Up Short

Columbine lost against Dakota Ridge back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Columbine fell just short of Dakota Ridge by a score of 4-3. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbine saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kane Mullin, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Another was John Swanson, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Columbine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Dakota Ridge, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbine will welcome Poudre at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dakota Ridge, they will host Chatfield at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
