Basketball Recap: Julian Barton and Reydn Rosales Secure Win for Booker

Booker won the last time they faced Miami and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Booker Kiowas enjoyed a cozy 53-39 victory over the Miami Warriors.

Booker was led to victory by Reydn Rosales and Julian Barton. Rosales dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds, while Barton went 7-for-12 on his way to 17 points. The dominant performance also gave Rosales a new career-high in assists (six). Another player making a difference was Xavier Aquilera, who posted eight points.

Booker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 17 consecutive contests.

Booker has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

Coming up, Booker will face off against Paducah at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Miami, they will head out on the road to square off against White Deer at 6:00 p.m. on February 18th.
