Baseball Recap: Tooele Falls to Juab in First Game of Season

Tooele had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Juab Wasps on Monday, falling 8-2. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Tooele saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Sutherland, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Looking ahead, Tooele will be playing in front of their home fans against Manti at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Juab, they will face off against Ogden at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
