Basketball Recap: Fenwick Comes Up Short

Fenwick has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lemont Lemont HS on Saturday.

Fenwick's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Lemont, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Fenwick and Lemont should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Fenwick will face off against Providence-St. Mel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 343 places (38 vs. 381). Similarly, Lemont (ranked 88th) will meet Oak Forest (ranked 225th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
