On Thursday, Highland Prep beat Kingman 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Honey Badgers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, ALA - West Foothills didn't have quite enough to beat Scottsdale Christian Academy on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

ALA - West Foothills took Scottsdale Christian Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 17-25, 19-25, 15-9.

ALA - West Foothills' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Highland Prep, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
