Preview: Legend Titans vs. Ponderosa Mustangs

The Legend Titans will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Ponderosa Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Legend's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups.

Even though Highlands Ranch scored an imposing 69 points on Thursday, Legend still came out on top. Legend took their game against Highlands Ranch 80-69. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 12 more assists than your opponent, as Legend did.

Seth Whitehead continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 8-for-10 from long range and dropping a double-double on 36 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Whitehead, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Ponderosa scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Mountain Vista by a score of 90-78. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Ponderosa as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Legend has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Ponderosa, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-8.

Legend was taken down by Ponderosa 66-39 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Legend have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
