Softball Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the West Valley Eagles, falling 23-7. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 21-6 defeat on April 2nd.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for West Valley, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rogers will take on rival Clarkston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Pullman at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
