After flying high against Hilliard on Tuesday, Baldwin came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Clay Blue Devils by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Baldwin took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-22, 16-25, 25-12, 15-13.

Shiloh Marshall-Simmons was a one-woman wrecking crew For Clay. as she had 28 digs and four aces.

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Clay, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Baldwin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Fernandina Beach on the 8th. As for Clay, they will head out on the road to square off against Oakleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
