Soccer Recap: Del Rio Comes Up Short

Del Rio entered their matchup against United on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Del Rio Rams came up short against the United Longhorns, falling 4-0. The Rams were probably out for revenge after losing 2-1 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Del Rio and nudges their season record down to 4-8-1. As for United, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Del Rio will square off against United South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Del Rio is facing United South at the right time seeing as United South is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for United, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Medina Valley at 7:00 p.m. Medina Valley will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something United surely won't give up without a fight.
