Soccer Recap: Hazleton Area Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Hazleton Area was not quite Crestwood's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to the Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Crestwood this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on September 9th.

Hazleton Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Crestwood, their win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hazleton Area will take on rival Wilkes-Barre at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crestwood is set to challenge their familiar foe Greater Nanticoke Area at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
