Baseball Recap: Middle Creek Mustangs vs. Apex Friendship Patriots

Middle Creek easily dispatched Enloe on Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Middle Creek Mustangs fell just short of the Apex Friendship Patriots by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Gabe Murray put in work while hitting and pitching. He pitched 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits.
