Football Recap: Gabriel Andrucko and Megginis Lovitt Pace Berean Christian Defense

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Piedmont, Berean Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins by a score of 28-21. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bruins, too.

Christian Smith was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 207 yards and two TDs.

Berean Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gabriel Andrucko and Megginis Lovitt.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Baron Laxa, who picked up 68 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
