Manual came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Regis Groff, but James Murdock wouldn't allow it. The Regis Groff Fusion had just enough and edged out the Manual Thunderbolts 73-71 thanks in part to Murdock, who dropped a double-double with 33 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Javelle Taylor, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 18 points and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

Regis Groff is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Manual and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Coming up, Regis Groff and DSST: Conservatory Green will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. DSST: Conservatory Green knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Regis Groff likes a good challenge. Manual does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
