Baseball Recap: Bowler Takes a Loss

Bowler lost against Marion back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 12-1 to the Mustangs. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Bowler saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Treyvon Granquist, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Bowler's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Marion, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bowler will face off against rival Tigerton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marion is set to square off against their familiar foe Gresham Community at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
