Basketball Recap: Lincoln School Takes Down Pilgrim in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Lincoln School rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They managed a 40-35 victory over the Pilgrim Patriots. The win continues a trend for the Lynx in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alivia Harris, who posted seven points and eight steals. The dominant performance gave Harris a new career-high in steals. Sarah Berube was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Lincoln School's victory bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Pilgrim, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 17-4 record.

Coming up, Lincoln School will face off against Prout at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Prout will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lincoln School surely won't give up without a fight. Pilgrim does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
