Softball Game Preview: Concrete Lions vs. Friday Harbor Wolverines

Concrete is 0-10 against Friday Harbor since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lions will challenge the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Concrete has given up an average of 19 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Concrete is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 25-4 to Coupeville.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Friday Harbor). They were the clear victors by a 25-1 margin over Sultan on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Concrete's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Friday Harbor, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.

Concrete might still be hurting after the 34-6 defeat they got from Friday Harbor when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
