Football Recap: Ritchie County Rebels vs. Tygarts Valley Bulldogs        
        
		
             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Wahama, Ritchie County was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They took their  game at home  with ease, bagging  a  63-20 victory over the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs. The  match marked the Rebels' most dominant  win of the season.
 Ritchie County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Turner Shriver, who rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 39 yards and a touchdown. Shriver's longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.  Jonah Hamilton was in the mix  as well, providing Ritchie County with two touchdowns.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Ritchie County was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 472  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  since  the start of last season.
 Ritchie County's record is now 3-5. As for Tygarts Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Ritchie County will venture away from home to  take on St. Marys  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Ritchie County is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Tygarts Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Tygarts Valley is facing Trinity Christian at the right time seeing as Trinity Christian is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
