While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 849th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 186th).

Ansonia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Lehman Catholic, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1.
