Basketball Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Raymore-Peculiar duked it out withBlue Springs on Friday. The Raymore-Peculiar Panthers took a 50-35 bruising from the Blue Springs Wildcats. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Raymore-Peculiar and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Blue Springs, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raymore-Peculiar will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty North at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Blue Springs will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Lee's Summit West at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
