Volleyball Recap: Fannin County Rebels vs. Coosa Eagles
Fannin County saw some tournament action on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Coosa Eagles 2-1.
Fannin County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-10, 15-11.
Fannin County found their leader in sophomore Amberly Patterson, who had 12 digs and one assist.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava King, who had five digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Whitley Sharpe, who had eight kills.
