Football Recap: East Chapel Hill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If East Chapel Hill was feeling good fresh off their 44-0 takedown of Cedar Ridge last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Green Hope Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 58-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Nicholas Goulet was nothing short of spectacular for Green Hope: he threw for 226 yards and five TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Davis, who picked up 100 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

East Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Green Hope, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Chapel Hill will host Graham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Hope, they will be playing at home against Athens Drive at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
