Soccer Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alcovy two weeks ago, Clarke Central came back down to earth. The Gladiators came up short against the Jefferson Dragons on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Clarke Central haven't had much luck with Jefferson recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Clarke Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Jefferson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Clarke Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will square off against North Oconee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
