Volleyball Game Preview: Gertz-Ressler Pumas vs. Neuwirth Leadership Academy Boxers

The Gertz-Ressler Pumas will head out on the road to face off against the Neuwirth Leadership Academy Boxers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Gertz-Ressler lost 3-0 to New Designs University Park on Friday. The Pumas have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

While Gertz-Ressler was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-22, 25-10.

Neuwirth Leadership Academy won by a set and slipped past New Designs University Park 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Boxers.

Neuwirth Leadership Academy wouldn't go down easily and took New Designs University Park into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-23, 25-22, 20-25, 15-11.

Gertz-Ressler's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Neuwirth Leadership Academy, their record now sits at 9-4.

Gertz-Ressler couldn't quite get it done against Neuwirth Leadership Academy in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 3-1. Can Gertz-Ressler avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
