Softball Recap: Morgan County Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Morgan County's offense. They came up short against the East Carter Raiders on Thursday, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 back in March.

Morgan County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for East Carter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Morgan County has already played their next contest (against Fairview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for East Carter, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-3 win against Lewis County on the 18th.
