Basketball Recap: Rock Creek Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Rock Creek won the last time they faced Concordia and things went their way on Friday too. The Rock Creek Mustangs came out on top against the Concordia Panthers by a score of 41-32. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Panthers are ranked 215th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Rock Creek and bumps their season record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points on average over those games. As for Concordia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Rock Creek nor Concordia have any future games scheduled.
