Reedy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Creekview Mustangs 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Malaina Boyst looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Katelyn Crosby was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Sierra Petersdorf was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Reedy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .325 or higher in nine consecutive matches.

Reedy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Creekview, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Reedy Lions take on The Colony Cougars at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The Colony has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.56 runs per game on average), something Reedy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Creekview, they will head out to take on Lone Star at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rangers have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
