East Gaston never let their opponents score on Friday. They claimed a resounding 34-0 win over the Highland Tech Rams. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Gaston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chris Leavy, who rushed for 121 yards and a pair of TDs. Mari Chambers was another key back, rushing for 86 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: East Gaston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 248 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

East Gaston didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Bryant and Ty Scott.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Highland Tech, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
