Woodsboro's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They skirted past the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Bobcats since February 22, 2022.

The team relied heavily on Jordan Vega, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. JR Alaniz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Woodsboro's victory bumped their record up to 2-12. As for Skidmore-Tynan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Woodsboro will welcome Refugio at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
