Whitmer entered their tilt with Evergreen on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Vikings 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Whitmer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-15.

Evie Brown paced Whitmer's offense, picking up 15 kills. Brown got some help from Hayden Harmon and her 21 assists. Harmon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Whitmer's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Evergreen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Whitmer has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Anthony Wayne on the 16th. As for Evergreen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Patrick Henry on the 16th.
