Recap: Babylon Panthers vs. Southold/Greenport Settlers
The Babylon Panthers posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 win over Southold/Greenport. The win was nothing new for Babylon as they're now sitting on three straight.
Babylon can attribute much of their success to Giavanna Randazzo, who scored 17 points.
Babylon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Southold/Greenport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Babylon will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against East Hampton at 6:15 p.m. Southold/Greenport will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Babylon at 6:15 p.m. on February 12th.
