Basketball Recap: Oconto Falls' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oconto Falls strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Marinette Marines by a score of 72-64. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Marines, too.

Oconto Falls got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brady Bursa out in front who went 7-for-11 on his way to 18 points and five assists. Bursa is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 64% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. JJ Pytleski was another key player, shooting 58% from the field en route to 18 points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks.

Oconto Falls' record is now 3-0. As for Marinette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oconto Falls will square off against rival Denmark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Marinette is set to take on their familiar foe Luxemburg-Casco at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
