Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain Ridge Sentinels vs. West Jordan Jaguars

The Mountain Ridge Sentinels will venture away from home to face off against the West Jordan Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mountain Ridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Riverton, who was ranked 15th at the time (Mountain Ridge was ranked fifth). The Sentinels put the hurt on the Silverwolves with a sharp 3-0 victory last Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sentinels.

Mountain Ridge not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Riverton between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, West Jordan was able to grind out a solid win over Fremont on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 24-26, 25-21.

Mountain Ridge's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for West Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
