In other batting news, Stanton got a massive performance out of Olivia Christovich, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Emmalyn Gensch, who went 2-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Meanwhile, Riverside fell victim to Wolfson and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wolfpack, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 25 runs in the game before, the Generals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Stanton's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Riverside, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Stanton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Riverside struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 12 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
